Born, raised, and currently residing in Floyd County, Virginia, I was taught the value of God, family, and country from a young age. Between our farm supply store and our family farm, I came to appreciate the grit and determination that it takes to become successful. This propelled me to Virginia Tech where I spent four years as a cadet in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. There I received my BA in Political Science with a concentration in National Security and minors in History and Leadership. It was also at Virginia Tech where I met the love of my life, my now wife, Morgan. Together we have two amazing children, our son Daniel and our daughter Lucy. We enjoy time on the family farm checking cows, feeding the goats, and playing with our dog Gunner and cat Rudy.
Growing up, I saw my mother work through financial hardships. Now, I get to help others reach their financial goals.
