Southwest Virginia has always been “home” to me. I grew up in Buchanan County and have resided in the New River Valley for over a decade now. I began my educational journey at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise, earning a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Secondary Education. After teaching Spanish, I continued my education at Radford University, where I received my Master of Science degree from Radford University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I then spent nine years working as a medical Speech Language Pathologist.
Whether in the classroom, the therapy room, or now in the world of insurance, one thing has always guided me: a passion for helping people. Since the beginning of Jackson Financial, I have played various roles and today, I serve as the Director of Insurance Operations. My focus is helping our clients protect what matters most to them through personalized insurance solutions.
Outside of work, I’m blessed with a wonderful husband, Ben, and our two greatest joys – our sons, Sawyer and Ezra. You will often find us on a field or court somewhere cheering them on or outside playing together as a family. We are big sports fans! We rarely miss a Dallas Cowboys game (even though our oldest is an avid Chiefs fan!) and, of course, love to cheer on our Hokies.
